Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and www Holding AB, org. no. 559515-3668, Anundsgatan 22, 753 34 Uppsala, Sweden ("we"), for the use of Kilos (the "App") and the services behind it. By using the App you accept them. Last updated 14 October 2026.

The App

The App logs strength and cardio workouts with timed sets and rests, keeps templates, history and body measurements, lets you describe gyms and their equipment, lets you work out together with other users and share a profile and the workouts you choose to make public, shows a feed of the workouts other users made public and of posts from us about training, backs your data up to your account, and, if you turn it on, offers an AI coach. The App is in an early release: features change, and it may have faults.

Your account

An anonymous account is created the first time the App opens. You may sign in to keep the account across phones. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your phone secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Where the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to online services on your own (in several EU countries 14 to 16), you must be that age or have a parent's or guardian's permission, and the parent or guardian accepts these terms on your behalf.

Subscription

Parts of the App (the AI coach and everything else marked "Pro") need a paid subscription. The price and the length of the period (a week, a month or a year) are shown before you buy. A plan may start with a free trial; if it does, the trial length and the price after it are shown there too. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends and you are not charged again; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Price changes are announced in advance and never apply before you have had the chance to cancel.

Where you cancel depends on where you bought:

  • App Store: Settings › Subscription in the App, or the subscriptions page of your Apple account. Apple is the seller; refunds are requested from Apple.
  • Google Play: Settings › Subscription in the App, or Google Play › Subscriptions. Google is the seller; refunds are requested from Google.
  • Our website: the "Manage subscription" link in your receipt email, or https://kilosapp.com/manage. Stripe is the seller (merchant of record). If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days by writing to [email protected], and the full amount is refunded. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal; no refund is owed for the current period except where the law requires it.

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on our website. It does not cancel one bought from Apple or Google; cancel that with them first.

Your data

Your workouts, templates, measurements, gyms and chat threads are yours. You give us the right to store, process and back them up to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. How the App uses your data, including usage measurement, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Gyms you publish

If you publish a gym, you confirm that its name, city, position and equipment list may be shown to other users, and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may edit or remove published gyms.

Content and community rules

Kilos has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. These rules apply to everything you share with other users, and you agree to them when you choose a username.

What you can share. Once you choose a username you can share a username and display name, a profile photo, a short bio, and the workouts you set to Everyone: the workout's name, its exercises and your sets. Workouts set to Everyone are shown on your profile and in the Kilos feed to every signed-in user of the App (workouts you imported are shown on your profile only). In a lobby, the people training with you see the sets logged in it. Your workouts are set to Only me until you choose Everyone or Only me, and you can change who sees each workout at any time.

What is not allowed. Do not share anything that is sexual or nude, violent or gory, hateful or discriminatory, that threatens, bullies or harasses anyone, that pretends to be someone else, that reveals someone else's private information, that promotes illegal activity or illegal substances, that is spam or advertising, or that infringes someone else's rights. This covers usernames, display names, photos, bios, workout names and exercise names you type yourself. Do not use another account to reach someone who has blocked you.

Your licence to us. What you share stays yours. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, resize and show it in the App to the people your choices allow, only to run the App. The licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except for copies kept in reports and backups for the time the Privacy Policy describes.

Report and block. Report a post or a profile from its ⋯ menu, and a person in a lobby from their row there. You can block a user from the same menus; they can then no longer find you, invite you, or see your profile or workouts, and they are not told. You can also report anything by writing to [email protected]. We review every report within 24 hours.

What we do. We filter and review content, may check a profile photo before others see it, and remove anything that breaks these rules. We may reset a username, remove a photo, bio or post, and suspend or close the account of anyone who breaks these rules or abuses others, without notice when the case is clear or serious. Repeated or serious breaches lead to the account being closed for good.

Age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, as set out under "Your account".

Acceptable use

Do not use the App to harass anyone, to seek or promote illegal substances, to overload or attack our service, or to reverse engineer it. We may decline AI requests that break these rules and may suspend accounts that do.

Not medical advice

The App, including the AI coach and our posts in the feed, gives general training information. It is not medical advice and cannot know your health. Training carries risk of injury. Consult a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, and stop if something hurts. The AI coach can be wrong; check what it says before acting on it.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, for lost data you did not export, or for injury arising from training you chose to do. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Swedish law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings › Account (see Subscription above for what happens to a paid plan). We may close accounts that break these terms. Deleting your account deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The App, its design and its content (except your data) belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on your devices.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the App will tell you about changes that matter. Swedish law applies, and disputes are settled by Swedish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
